Mars Food Australia manufactures and markets some of Australia's most popular food brands, including MASTERFOODS®, DOLMIO®, KAN TONG® and UNCLE BEN'S®. The Australian food business was founded by Henry Lewis in 1926 and passed onto his sons, John, David and Victor, before becoming part of the Mars family's group of companies in 1967.

Mars Food Australia today offers over 500 products in categories as diverse as herbs and spices, mustards, marinades, relishes, table sauces, pasta sauces, recipe bases, stir fry sauces, rice products and Promite spread. It exports to New Zealand and throughout the Asian Pacific region as well as supplying the food service and industrial sectors.

The MASTERFOODS® brand is one of Mars' largest Australian brands, and is a leader in many of the food categories in which it competes. In addition to the much loved MASTERFOODS® herbs and spices, mustards, relishes and flavoured sauces ranges, the MASTERFOODS® brand has pioneered innovative food marketing developments such as the 'squeezy' sauce bottle, and sachet Recipe Bases and Finishing Sauces.

Mars Food Australia is based on the beautiful Central Coast of New South Wales, where its state of the art facility was officially opened in 1992. Since then, the facility has continued to improve and grow, and the company continues to be an active member of the local community, employing more than 300 Associates and supporting a range of charitable and sporting organisations across the region.
